We put our milk right next to our milkmakers cookies in the freezer at work!
I started eating Milk Makers while I was on Maternity Leave after having my son Ian. As a Program Manager for a busy computing company, I was concerned that stress levels and back to back meetings would impact my milk supply. I wanted a solution that wouldn’t leave me smelling like maple syrup and that I didn’t have to keep on my desk announcing my nursing status. Not only do they taste great, I immediately noticed the impact to my milk supply. And who doesn’t love having cookies on hand at all times? My coworker Stephanie was due a few months after me and when she came back from maternity leave she had questions about my experience as a nursing mom. We often talked about the issues that we encountered and how we came to solutions for everything from finding a non-occupied room to pump in to how to deal with some of the more uncomfortable aspects of nursing. Somehow she found out about Milk Makers on her own because one afternoon, as I was placing my 2:30 pump into the freezer, I was delighted to see that there were 2 bags of Milk Makers stored in the freezer. Stephanie had placed them there and offered them to me to share. So now, we keep our cookies and milk in the same place at work!
