what moms are saying

“Tasty and effective! Milkmakers helped boost my milk supply for pumping when I went back to work. After 6 months of exclusively breastfeeding, it became a point of pride that my son had never had a drop of formula…much thanks to Milkmakers!!”
Commenter on dailycandy.com

“I ordered Milkmakers for my wife. They tasted incredible and it really helped her milk supply.”
newdadnorthwest on whattoexpect.com

“They were so delicious that I actually called my husband and told him how good they were. They ranked along the line with some of the best oatmeal chocolate chip cookies I have tried.”
Ericka Bodwell, Blogger

“My supply went up after eating them and they are really good. I pump two times a day at work and when I started eating the cookies, I was able to get an additional four ounces or so out.”
commenter from community.babycenter.com

“Milkmakers make a welcome and generous gift for nursing moms. They do just what they say they will do – MAKE MILK! And they are beyond delicious.”
Francesca, commenter on dailycandy.com

“With all the other options out there to increase a mom’s breast milk, this, by far, is the tastiest.”
Kate, 4/30/2010

“My newborn’s pediatrician was concerned she wasn’t gaining enough weight a day after we left the hospital. I ate two Milkmakers cookies and she gained 3 ounces overnight! The next day at her appointment, the pediatrician was happy with the weight-gain and quit recommending supplementation!”
-Lauren Lafargue Makar, Saint Robert, Missouri, 1/16/2011

The recipe, based on a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie, yields a yummy, slightly oversized cookie with near perfect texture. The wholesome flavor is not too sweet, but just sweet enough to feel like a treat.

How do Milkmakers work?

Key ingredients in Milkmakers cookies incude oats, brewer’s yeast and flax seed. Oats are eaten by nursing moms worldwide to boost breast milk supply and are a nutritional powerhouse, providing plenty of whole grains, fiber, iron, and an abundance of healthy vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Brewer’s yeast is a traditional herbal remedy used to stimulate and increase the production of breast milk and is a rich source of the B-vitamins and amino acids essential for nursing moms and their babies. Flax seed provides an abundance of omega-3 fatty acids, necessary for brain development, which can be passed from mother to baby through breast milk. These ingredients work together to make Milkmakers a wholesome, beneficial treat for breastfeeding moms.

How fast will I see results?

If you’re in need of a breast milk boost, try eating one to two delicious lactation cookies every day. While every woman’s body is different, most moms notice an increase in their milk supply after a few days. Milkmakers also recommends seeking help from a lactation consultant.

What varieties do Milkmakers come in?

Milkmakers are available as an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie and an oatmeal raisin dairy free cookie.
