becoming a mother has taught me
to be more comfortable having little control.
my advice to new moms
is to share openly with other moms; hearing that you are not alone keeps you grounded.
my biggest challenge with nursing
has been keeping up my milk production.
the best thing about nursing
is being physically close to my baby, feeling
the magnitude of caring for her with such a
basic need.
my pumping at work tip
is to make pumping a part of your schedule.
the best thing about being a mom
is being a witness of the miracle of watching
a little baby you’ve created grow and develop
into their own person.

mom to Sophia (2 ½ years) & Hannah (3 months)
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice. When I first went back to work, I had a lot of anxiety because Hannah wasn’t taking the bottle and I was having trouble with my milk production. I tried all of the suggestions my doctor gave me in terms of increasing milk production, but nothing seemed to make a difference.
When my friend gave me milkmakers for a gift, I was in heaven! I couldn’t believe that my favorite food could also help me with nursing. I am a self-proclaimed cookie connoisseur and I can confidently say that milkmakers are just as good as some of my favorite cookies. They seem to be one of the only things that have helped keep my milk supply up. I urge any mom who is having trouble with milk production to order them as soon as possible!
